Mr. Scott Lewis departed this life peacefully on Friday, March 15, 2024 at his residence after a battle with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) and lung cancer.

Memorial services will be held Thursday, March 21, 1:00 P.M. at San Clair Baptist Church, 1208 San Clair Road, Wadley, GA.

Scott was born April 29, 1950, in Jenkins County to the late Mr. Leroy Green and the late Ms. Mary Lee Lewis. At a very young age he joined San Clair Baptist Church in Wadley, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings, Margaret Osborne, William Bump Lewis, Ida Mae Lewis, and John Henry Lewis, a devoted son-in-love, Daniel Edward Xavier Phair.

He retired after 30 years from Department of Transportation as a Heavy Equipment Operator. During his career he received many outstanding job performance awards. He enjoyed skating, singing, fishing, dancing, playing cards, cooking Bon Dido burgers, telling jokes and hanging out at the cool spot. He was also known to many by several different names; Scottie to Hottie, The Chosen One, Great Scott, The Seventh Child, Boydean and the BOSS.

Scott leaves to cherish his precious memories has two daughters, Ms. Tangie Lafaye Phair of Stafford, Virginia; Ms. Aleshia Michelle Lewis of Louisville Georgia; stepdaughter, Ms. Sandy Harmon of Wadley, Georgia; grandsons, Mr. Winford Seafus, Jr., Mr. Antowaski Kittles, Jr., granddaughters, Ms. Charmaine Lafaye Gilmore of Augusta Georgia, Ms. Alexandra Olivia Alexis Phair of Stafford, Virginia; great-grandchildren, Imoni Carr, Ryleigh Carr, Jaylan Thomas, of Augusta Ga., KaMiyah Kittles of Louisville, Ga., Bentley Seafus of Augusta Ga: his siblings; Charles Paul Lewis, Regina Kelly, Ms. Mary Dorothy Heggs, Min. Julia Mae Dixon of Wadley Georgia; a host of loving and devoted nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Davis Funeral Home, 725 Beech Street, Louisville, GA is in charge of arrangements for Mr. Scott Lewis.
