Cherry Mae McDougle, was born on May 2, 1931, to Robert McCalvin, Sr., and Helen Pappy in Adell, Georgia. She married Prince McDougle on March 22, 1991, in St. Augustine, Florida. She was an educator at Crookshank Elementary for 20 years, and she was also a beautician. She was a faithful member of St. Paul AME Church for several years, where she taught Bible Study and served on the Usher Board. She was also a member of St. Augustine Imrovement Association.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in eternal rest by her sons, William Odom and Jimmy Eubanks, brother, Robert Mac McCalvin Jr.
She leaves to cherish her memory: husband, Prince McDougle, sons, Elvis McDougle, Lafayette, IN; Leon Cooper, St. Augustine; daughters, Barbara Morris (Benjamin), Orlando, Fl; Nakia McDougle (Katherine), Savannah, Ga; granddaughters, Sharon Odom (Jessica), Gainesville, Fl; Erin Smart (Alex), Erica Collins (George) both of Orlando, Fl, grandson, Darius McDougle, Haverhill, Fl; great grandchildren, kash and Dakota Smart, both of Orlando, Fl; and a host of extended family and friends and beloved God children.
The McDougle Family will receive friends and the community 5-6 p.m., Monday, March 25, at St. Paul AME Church, 85 ML King Ave, St. Augustine, Florida. A Celebration of Life will be held 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 26, at St. Paul AME Church. Interment will be held in Evergreen Cemetery.
