Leevon O. Harrington was born July 24, 1967. He thoroughly lived his life to “his” fullest. He was truly loved by his family and friends. The Lord called him home while being cared for at High Point Memorial Hospital on Monday, March 25th, 2024, in his 56th year of life. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mozelle A. Harrington and father, Casey N. Harrington.

Born and reared in High Point, NC, Leevon was a God-fearing man who loved the Lord.

He will be enormously missed by his children, Darius Barthell (Brittany) High Point, NC; Julia Truetschel, Bamberg, Germany; Javonta Watts, Lexington, NC. He is survived by his loving sister and brothers, Katrina Parson, Casey D. Harrington (Tonia) and Kenan N. Harington (Jean). He was honored to be entitled “grandfather” to Darius II and Jaxon (Darius) and Jahor (Javonta). He valued his role to a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Leevon will be forever remembered for his loving heart and willingness to help others. We now have another named Angel watching over us.

Funeral service will be held Monday, April 1, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Service Chapel. Interment will follow at Carolina Biblical Gardens. The family will receive friends at the chapel from 12:30 p.m. until 1:00 p.m.
