Tommy “Top Cat” Strickland, 62 of Memphis, TN fell asleep in his Master’s arms on March 16, 2024 at his home with his family by his bedside. Top Cat was born Wednesday October 16, 1963 to the union of the late Melvin and Loesther Strickland.

Tommy was a self employed carpet installer for many years, later retiring and becoming a full time caregiver. Though he is absent from the body he will forever be in out hearts. Tommy will be remembered for saying “ He was family affiliated,” and “I am doing the best that I can.”

Tommy was proceeded in death by his sister Myrtle Strickland.

Tommy leaves a legacy of love with his three sisters, Jackie Morgan, Debbie Clay, and Ethel Hornsby. A brother Gary Strickland, along with aunts and uncles and a host of other relatives and friends.

A memorial service is scheduled for 12 pm Friday April 05, 2024 at R. S. Lewis Funeral Home 2944 Walnut Grove Rd.
