Dr. Sydney Fitz Clarence Barnwell,97, of New Bern a native of Guyana, South America passed Friday, March 29, 2024 at his residence.

A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted 2:00 PM, Saturday, September 21, 2024 at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship 308 Meadows Street, New Bern, NC 28560.

He is survived by his daughter, Maria Barnwell, Arizona and son, John Barnwell of the home; three grandchildren, Ava Lehner, Dylan Lehner and Xavier Barnwell.
