James Littlejohn SPARTANBURG, SC-- Mr. James Littlejohn, 85, passed on December 25, 2014. He was born on February 26, 1926 in Spartanburg, SC. Mr. Littlejohn was the widower of Mrs. Mattie Young Littlejohn. He was retired from Allied Van Lines after 20 years of employment. Left to cherish fond memories are: his children, Rhoda (Thomas) Porter, Jesse (Shirley) Bowens and Thomas (Mary) Martin; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. A Celebration of the Life of James Littlejohn will be held on Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at 1:00 PM at The John Stinson Woodward Memorial Chapel, 602 Howard Street. The Reverend W. E. Smith will officiate. Interment will be in Lincoln Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Martin, 367 Oliver Street.
