SPARTANBURG, SC-- Mrs. Irene Foster Drummond, 69, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, January 22, 2015. She was the daughter of the late Lucille Rice Foster and Robert Willie Foster, Sr. Irene was the widow of Ronald James Jones. She later married Leland Drummond, Jr., who predeceased her. Mrs. Drummond was a member of Mount Moriah Baptist Church. Mrs. Drummond was predeceased by her son, Steve Wesley Sutton. She leaves to cherish fond and loving memories: her son, Ronnie James Sutton, Jr. and her daughter-in-law, Tikki Sutton of Spartanburg, SC; her daughters, Rose Marie Young of Union, SC, Damita Yvette Oglesby of Atlanta, GA and Toni Tequila Sutton of the home. Irene was the seventh of twenty-two children. Her surviving siblings are: Cynthia Moore (Stephen) Carter, Patricia Ann Wilkins, Louis Foster, Marvin Moore, Robert Foster, Jr., Benjamin Foster, Marlene Jones, and Cindy Ball (Wes) Barnard. Mrs. Drummond is also survived by: her nine grandchildren, Sheena Foster, Kiara, Mindy, Totiunna Quanesia, Alicia, James, Elijah and Naomi Sutton; her great grandchild, J'vante Rookard; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. A Celebration of the Life of Irene Foster Drummond will be held on Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Mount Moriah Baptist Church, 445 South Church Street, Spartanburg , SC 29306. The Reverend Dr. B. D. Snoddy will officiate. Interment will be held in Heritage Memorial Gardens, 3901 S. Church Street Ext., Roebuck, SC 29376.
