Woodruff, SC – Freida T. Jeter, 58, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, January 27, 2015. She was the daughter of Mrs. Juanita Edward Thompson and the late Mr. John Albert Thompson and. She was a native of Spartanburg County, SC At an early age Ms. Jeter joined Lower Shady Grove Baptist Church in Woodruff, SC. She later joined Mt. Nebo Baptist Church where she was the first Deaconess. Later she returned back to Lower Shady Grove Baptist Church. She loved to sing and praise the Lord. Ms. Jeter was a former employee of Spartanburg Restorative Care. After that she stayed home to care for her mother whom she was very dedicated. Freida had a great love for her family and close friends. She was a fashionable dresser and everything she did was with love from the heart. She leaves to cherish fond and loving memories to: her daughter, Ashley Foster (Howard) of Woodruff, SC; her sons, Cevie Jeter (Nicole) of Woodruff, SC and Nicholas Bullock (Lora) of Moore, SC; her sisters, Beatrice T. Kelly (Thad) of Spartanburg, SC, Janice Thompson of Duncan, SC, Robin (Curtis) Fair of Chester, VA; her brother, Willie Albert Thompson (Tracy) of Greenville, SC; her four grandchildren, Zachary Foster, Le’Asia Jeter reared in the home, Nicholas Bullock, Jr and Kyra Lanford; her goddaughter, Deshorie Canada; her dear friends, Eugene Gilliam and Sandra Sullivan and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Ms. Jeter was preceded in death by her brother, Rudolph Thompson; her sisters, Sherill T. Waters and Johnita T. Martin. A Celebration of the Life of Freida T. Jeter will be held on Friday, January 30, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Lower Shady Grove Baptist Church, 1552 Switzer Green Pond Rd., Woodruff, SC 29388. Reverend Ron Henderson will officiate. Interment will be held in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the home, 1612 Switzer Green Pond Rd., Woodruff, SC 29388.
