Funeral service for Tyreesha Pettus, 34, of Opelika, AL, will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 6, 2024, at Greater Peace Missionary Baptist Church, 650 Jeter Avenue, Opelika, AL, 36801 with interment in Evergreen Cemetery, 1409 Monroe Avenue, Opelika, AL, 36801, Reverend Clifford E. Jones, Pastor, Bishop Kenneth Carter, Eulogist.
Ms. Pettus, who passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at the East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, AL, was born March 16, 1990, in Lee County, Alabama.
Public viewing will be Friday, April 5, 2024 from 2:00 p.m.- 6:00 p.m.
Ms. Pettus will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to the service.
“Ty” as she was affectionately known by family and friends, graduated from Beulah High School Class of 2008 where she played on the Girls Varsity Basketball Team and was Color Guard for the Beulah Marching Band.
