Mr. Charles Leon Alexander, age 89, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania formerly of Warren County, NC departed this life on January 27, 2024, in Philadelphia, Pa.

A Graveside Memorial Service with military honors will be conducted on Saturday, April 13, 2024, at 11:00am in the Snow Hill Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Warrenton, North Carolina. The Reverend King Perry, Jr., Pastor will officiate.

He leaves to mourn his beloved wife Margaret of 68 years; sisters, Ruby Greene and Joyce Alexander of Brooklyn, NY; nephews, Keith Greene (Patricia) of Port St. Lucie, FL, and Walter Greene of Brooklyn, NY; niece, Alexis Greene of Brooklyn, NY; sister-in-law, Denise Britt of Mableton, GA; brother-in-law, Ronald Wallace (Linda) of Richmond, VA; cousins, Mary Simmons of FL, Vivian Lynch and Carolyn Allen (Odell) of Wilmington, NC; cousins from Philadelphia include Bernadette Fersner, Dilworth Yancey (Celestine), Anna Renee Quarles, Lisa Liburd (Derrick), Aisha Renee Moore (Robert Kirby) and Mark Yancey Sr. (Nikeeta); the Tunstall family and close friend Marshall (Tillie) Fogg of Warrenton, NC; and a host of other family and friends
