Obituary For Mr. Rodney Glenn

Rodney Earl Glenn SPARTANBURG, SC- Rodney Earl Glenn, 43, peacefully entered into eternal rest Monday, March 9, 2015. Mr. Glenn was the son of Mr. John Glenn and the late Mrs. Gwendolyn Glenn. He was the husband of Mrs. Felicia S. Glenn. Mr. Glenn was of the Baptist Faith. Rodney was a graduate of Spartanburg High School, Class of 1990. Mr. Glenn retired from Spartanburg School District 7 where he served as a District 7 DSOC Purchasing Agent and Transportation Driver. Prior to his retirement he worked for Spartanburg School District 6. Left to cherish fond and loving memories are: his loving wife; his cherished sisters, Vernette Rice of Lyman, SC and Michelle Littlejohn of Spartanburg, SC; his devoted brothers; Jason W. Glenn, Sr., Terrence Glenn, Kenneth Glenn and Willie J. Ferguson all of Spartanburg, SC; and a host of other relatives and dear friends. Mr. Glenn was preceded in death by his mother; his grandmothers, Carrie Patton and Annie Mae Glenn; his grandfathers, James Patton, Sr. and Clifford Glenn; his brother, Andre Gist. A Celebration of the Life of Rodney Earl Glenn will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2015 at 11:30 a.m. at Evangel Cathedral, 500 Evangel Road, Spartanburg, SC. The Reverend James Patton, Jr. will officiate. Interment will be held in the Lincoln Memorial Gardens, 2310 Cannons Campground Rd., Spartanburg, SC. The family will receive friends at the home of his brother, Jason Glenn, 127 Simpson St., Spartanburg, SC.
