Pacolet, SC – Mr. Robert Earl “Blessy” Reid Peeler, 58, peacefully entered into eternal rest on Sunday, March 15, 2015. Mr. Peeler was the son of the late Mr. Emmis Perry Peeler and the late Mrs. Thelma Louise Reid Peeler. Mr. Peeler was a member of Gethsemane Missionary Baptist Church, where he faithfully served as an usher. Loving survivors include: his siblings, Mrs. Patricia (Charles) Norris of Spartanburg, SC, Mr. Bruce Peeler and Ms. Linda Peeler both of Pacolet, SC; aunts, Ms. Mary Peeler of Bridgeport, CT, Mrs. Josephine (Willie) McBeth of Pacolet, SC and Mrs. Mary Frances Peeler Taylor of Wake Forest, NC; other dear relatives and friends. Mr. Peeler was predeceased by his brother, Mr. Terry W. Reid. The family is at the home of his sister, Ms. Linda Peeler, 159 Murph St., Spartanburg, SC. A Celebration of the Life of Robert Earl Reid Peeler will be held on Friday, March 20, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Gethsemane Missionary Baptist Church, 190 Beech St., Pacolet, SC. Mr. Peeler will lie in state at the church one hour prior to service. Reverend Charles A. Walker will officiate. Interment will be in the Pacolet Memorial Gardens, 131 Memorial Dr., Pacolet, SC.
