Obituary For Arthur Williams, Jr.

Spartanburg, SC – Arthur Lee Williams, Jr. was born January 15, 1951 in Newberry, SC. He was the son of the late Wehlimenia Cureton and Arthur Williams, Sr. Mr. Williams entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, March 18, 2015. Arthur served in the United States Army where he was stationed in Vietnam in which he received 5 medals; Mr. Williams was a also member of the American Legion. Mr. Williams was employed at Hurst Fiber, BMG, Community Cash Warehouse and Wofford College. Left to cherish fond and loving memories are: his daughter, Deanna (Rodney) Bridges of Atlanta, GA; his sister, Sherry Wiggleton; his grandson, Jaqual Copland; his granddaughters, Jasmin Bridges, Janae and Jade Bridges of Atlanta, GA; his uncle, James Paul Cureton; his nieces, Sonja Cureton, Shenna Cureton, Tiara Cureton and Terrika McCloud of Washington, DC; his nephews, Timothy Cureton, Wayne Harrison, Rush McHam and James W. Cureton, Jr.; his two great nieces, his three great nephews and a host of other relatives and dear friends. A Celebration of the Life of Arthur Lee Williams will be held on Sunday, March 22, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at The John Stinson Woodward Memorial Chapel, 602 Howard St., Spartanburg, SC. The Reverend James Glenn will officiate. Interment will be held at The M.J. Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery, 140 Inway Dr., Anderson, SC on Monday, March 23, 2015. The family will receive friends at the home of his sister, Sherry Wiggleton, 1060 Hunt Club Ln. Apt. M, Spartanburg, SC.
