OPELOUSAS – Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 13, 2024 at Community Chapel Church of God In Christ, 1606 W. College Ave., Opelousas, LA for Mr. Warren Joseph Lazard, Jr., 51, who entered eternal rest on Friday, April 5, 2024 at his residence in Opelousas, LA. Interment will be in Garden of Memory Cemetery in Opelousas, LA.

Rev. Johnny Offord, Pastor of Greater New Hope Baptist Church, will be officiating the funeral service.

Mr. Lazard’s memories are being cherished by: his wife, Nicole Deshotel Lazard of Opelousas, LA; three sons, Jayden Lazard, Jaylon Lazard and Raheem Hicks, all of Opelousas, LA; three daughters, Gabrielle Lazard of Opelousas, LA, Amber Papillion of Alexandria, LA and Jordan Lafontaine of Pearland, TX; three fur babies, Smiley, Princess and Midnight Lazard; three sisters, Staice Lazard and Tracy Lazard, both of Lafayette, LA and Shawanna Lavergne (Reginald) of Opelousas, LA; 9 grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by: his daughter, Adalynn Louise Good; his parents, Warren Lazard, Sr. and Betty Scott Lazard; stepmother, Elise Smith Lazard; paternal grandparents, Dennis Lazard, Sr. and Mary Comeaux Lazard; and maternal grandparents, Armstead Scott and Velma Freeman Scott.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2024 from 7:00 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. at Community Chapel Church of God In Christ.
