Shirley Jean T. Robinson, 75, of 147 Centennial St., peacefully entered into eternal rest on Thursday, April 23, 2015. Mrs. Robinson was the daughter of the late Irene Thomas Gilliam. She was the widow of Lee Andrew Robinson. Shirley was a member of Greater Trinity A.M.E Church. Left to cherish fond and loving memories are: her daughters, Shirley (Anderson) Jeter and Ida Barnette both of Spartanburg, SC; her grandson, Anderson Jeter, III of Spartanburg,SC; her sisters, Silvia (Michael) Means, Mary Rogers, Julia (Tommy) Smothers, Jessie L. Holcomb and Sheila Gilliam all of Spartanburg, SC; her brothers, Larry and Carl Gilliam both of Spartanburg, SC; and a host of family and friends. A Celebration of the Life of Shirley Jean T. Robinson will be held on Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Greater Trinity A.M.E Church. The Reverend James Brownlee will officiate. Interment will be in the Heritage Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the home.
