Nora Kate Smith SPARTANBURG, SC - Nora Kate Smith, 80, peacefully entered into eternal rest on Monday, May 4, 2015. Ms. Smith was the daughter of the late William and Amanda Bessie Smith. Left to cherish fond and loving memories are: her daughters, Mary Burnett Mills and Mary Lee Smith; her son, Bobby Lee Smith; five grandsons, Maurice (Shanna) Smith, Raman (Tanisha) Reed, Shaun (Lakeyah) Mills, Terence (Bronti) Reed, Chris (Natassha) Mills; six nieces and nephew, JoAnn Boyce, Charlie Brannon, Detha Smith, Amanda Smith, Joyce Johnson, Hattie Northern and Robert Lee Walker; six great-grandchildren, Anthony, Donovan, Marissa, Michael, Zebron and Trevon; and a host of great nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends. A Celebration of the Life of Nora Kate Smith will be held on Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at 1:30 p.m. at The John Stinson Woodward Memorial Chapel, 602 Howard St., Spartanburg, SC. Reverend Willie J. Frazier will officiate. The family will receive friends at the home, 3000 Retha Dr., Spartanburg, SC.
