Mrs. Angela Maria Underwood Foster was the third of three siblings. She was born June 6, 1961, to the union of Jessie Mae Underwood and the late Willie Herman Underwood Sr. in Lamar County.

Angela attended Lamar County School System and graduated from Lamar County Comprehensive High School. She later continued her education and received a degree in education from Fort Valley State College. In 1992, she married her only true love the late Herman Foster Jr. Angela was a dedicated office clerk at Moore Elementary until she retired due to her illness.

Angela was the epitome of strength and grace, navigating life's ups and downs with resilience and determination. She lived a life filled with love, laughter, and unwavering devotion to her family, friends, and church. She loved spending time with the people she loved, going to church, traveling and cooking.

She was preceded in death by her father; Willie Herman Underwood Sr., and brother; Willie Herman Underwood Jr.

Angela took her heavenly flight on April 6, 2024 and she leaves in memory; her only child Kenyonna Foster; grandson Elijah Pierre, her loving sister Susie (Eric) Bank, one niece she raised as her own LaVista (Quincey) Allen; nephew Glentavious Parks; great niece Breasha Parks; great nephews Quintarious O'Neal; three great great nephews Glenndale Parks; Jai'Ceon Smith and Zayden West; a host of cousins and many dear friends.
