Obituary For Robert Harold Auman

Robert “Bob” Harold Auman Moore, SC – Robert “Bob” Harold Auman, 85, peacefully entered into eternal rest on Saturday, June 6, 2015. Mr. Auman was the son of the late Clara Mabel Reynolds Auman Frost and the late Alvey Clyde Auman. He was the widower of Marjorie “Marge” Lou Coheley Auman. Bob and “Marge” were long-time members of Morningside Baptist Church. Bob recently became a member of Anderson Mill Road Baptist Church. Mr. Auman was retired from Metropolitan Life Insurance Company and Instant Cash. Bob served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. Bob loved the Lord and had a servant’s heart for helping others. For five years, Mr. Auman delivered Mobile Meals. “Bob” was a member of Breakfast Optimist. He actively participated in the Cancer Caring Connection. Mr. Auman enjoyed square dancing, constructing model airplanes and trains, fishing, golfing and exercising at the YMCA. Bob was preceded in death by: “Marge”, his wife, of 59 years; his parents; and his brother, Paul Auman. Left to cherish fond and loving memories are: his daughters, Sue Nix (John), Cindy Turner (Maurice), Sandy Walden (Don) and Shelly McCall (Dennis); eleven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; long-time friends, Georgene Biggins, Carolyn Thomason and Roger Ezell. The Auman Family will receive friends on Thursday, June 11, 2015 from 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. in the Christian Life Center of Anderson Mill Road Baptist Church, 4371 Anderson Mill Rd., Moore, SC 29369. A private family Celebration of the Life of Robert “Bob” Harold Auman will be held at a later date. The family will be in the home of Bob Auman in Moore, SC. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, c/o Cancer Caring Connection, 154 Milestone Way, Greenville, SC 29601; or memorials may be made to Acts 1:8 Mission Fund, 4455 Anderson Mill Rd., Moore, SC 29369.
