James Earl Simpson VILLA RICA, GA-- James Earl Simpson, 53, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, June 25, 2015. Mr. Simpson was the son of the late Juanita L. Greene. He was the husband of Mrs. Veronica Simpson. James was a native of Spartanburg, SC. Mr. Simpson was baptized at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church at a very young age. Left to cherish fond and loving memories are: his loving wife of the home; his cherished daughters, Janice Booker, Tyia Ferguson, Brittany (Jeff) Sims all of Spartanburg, SC and Calesha Ferguson of Villa Rica, GA; his treasured sons, Stephen Greene of Colorado, Roderick Booker, Eugene Booker both of Spartanburg, SC and Micheal Ferguson of Fulton, GA; his beloved sisters, Audrey Geter, Darlene Brewton, Jackie Wallace and Carrie Simpson; his dear brothers, Freddie Greene, Steve Simpson, Tony Simpson and Eric Simpson; his much-loved uncle, Johnny Greene; and a host of other relatives and dear friends. A Celebration of the Life of James Earl Simpson will be held on Sunday, July 5, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. at The John Stinson Woodward Memorial Chapel, 602 Howard St., Spartanburg, SC. The Reverend M. Keith McDaniel, Sr. and Reverend Andre Tate will officiate. Interment will be held in Lincoln Memorial Gardens, 2310 Cannons Campground Rd., Spartanburg, SC. The family will receive friends at 634 S. Converse St., Spartanburg, SC.
