Spartanburg, SC – Carlos Edward Philson, 38, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, September 12, 2015. Mr. Philson was the son of Mr. Paul Edward Philson, Sr. and Mrs. Stevon Ray Philson. He was a native of Spartanburg, SC. Mr. Philson was of Baptist Faith. Carlos was graduate of Dorman High School, Class of 1995. Left to cherish fond and loving memories are: his parents; his brother, Paul Edward Philson, Jr.; his grandmother, Georgia Lee Philson of Spartanburg, SC; his grandfather, Linsay Ray of Altadena, CA; his niece, Tiffany Philson of Arden, NC; his nephew Lamar Smith of Houston, TX; and a host of cherished other relatives and dear friends. A Celebration of the Life of Carlos Edward Philson will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at The John Stinson Woodward Memorial Chapel, 602 Howard St., Spartanburg, SC. Pastor A.L. Thompson will officiate. Interment will be held at First Baptist Church of Fairforest, 200 Charity Dr., Fairforest, SC. The family will receive friends at the home of his parents, Mr. Paul and Mrs. Stevon Philson, 320 Woodview Avenue, Spartanburg, SC.
