Dear Pearson Family, I worked with Mr. Pearson for many years at Waccamaw EOC. He was definitely a leader and a very hard worker. He cared about people very much. I am really shocked to come across this today. I had no idea. I learned a great deal from him and will truly miss knowing that he is no longer 'keepin it going'. He loved his family and most everyone he knew. God bless you all in the days ahead. You will be in my prayers. Beth Calhoun

If it would not have been for my Dad there would be no me! Thanking the Lord for allowing my family to borrow his angel for 66 years. He was a wonderful son, father, husband, brother, uncle & friend. We loved you, but GOD loved you more! You will forever live in our hearts. Gone, but never forgotten. I love you always Daddy. Your Baby Girl, Raye Pearson

My sincere sympathy to the family. I have cherished memories of Bob as crusader for those in need. A man with a humble spirit. A privileged to have shared time with him. Today may comfort be found knowing he rejoices without anymore pain. And he leaves his memories for your heart to cherish.

This flower has fallen, he stands strong no more. . . his soul has ceased over, entering heaven's door. The hands of our Savior reached down from above caressing the flower that was so dearly loved. Bob will be missed by his neighbors and friends in Marion.

Bobby was a good man and very intelligent. I enjoyed talking to him when I went to spray his house in Marion SC. He knew a lot about politics and life itself. I remember about two years ago, I saw a column on the front page of the Marion Star. Bobby's picture was in the column with Coretta Scott King when he was asked to attend the signing at the White House Rose Garden establishing Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. a Federal Holiday. I cut the article out the paper and bought a frame to put the article in and carried it to his house. He put the picture in the shelf above his TV. I remember him asking me if I could get him another picture and frame for him and I told him I would gladly do it. I only knew Bobby for about ten years but what I could see in him, he would give you the shirt off his back, if he knew you needed it. God does not make many men like Bobby Pearson. His family are in my prayers. Sincerely, Brett G. King Marion Termite and Pest Control Company Inc.
