Obituary For Woodrow Kelley, Jr.

Woodrow Wilson 'June' Kelley, Jr. Woodrow Wilson 'June' Kelley, Jr. was born August 10, 1948 in Kelton, SC. He entered into eternal rest September 23, 2015. He was the husband of Mrs. Margaret Dye Kelley of 46 years. He was the son of the late Woodrow Wilson Kelley, Sr. and Lucille Smith Kelley. 'June' attended Sims High School in Union, SC. He retired from Kohler Company after 42 years of service. Mr. Kelley was a member of Mount Moriah Baptists Church, where he served on the Usher Board. He was an avid walker and sports enthusiast. He will always be remembered as a devoted husband, loving father, cherished grandfather and loyal friend. Mr. Kelley leaves behind: his devoted wife, Margaret; his sons, Calvin (Sarah) Scott, Sr. and Kevin Kelley both of Spartanburg, SC; his daughter, Angelia Kelley (Damon) Corbin of Charleston, SC; his brothers, Gene Kelley of Spartanburg, SC and Walter (Lena) Kelley of Jonesville, SC; his five sisters, Mattie (William) Midgette of Spartanburg, SC, Justine(Howard) Harris of Pacolet, SC; Mildred Kelly and Mary (Skip) Chappell both of Boiling Springs, SC and Margie Wicks of Jonesville, SC; his brother-in-law, Otis Dye, Jr. of Spartanburg, SC; his sisters-in-law, Judy (Rev. McKelvie) Garvin of Spartanburg, SC and Christine Oglesby of Woodruff, SC; his cherished eight grandchildren; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, family and friends. He was preceded in death by two siblings, Barbara Jeter and Otis Smith, Sr. A Celebration of the Life of Woodrow Wilson 'June' Kelley, Jr. will be held on Friday, October 2, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Mount Moriah Baptist Church, 445 S. Church St, Spartanburg, SC. Dr. B. D. Snoddy will officiate. Interment will be held in the Lincoln Memorial Gardens. The family will receive family and friends on Thursday, October 1, 2015 from 7:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at The John Stinson Woodward Memorial Chapel., 602 Howard St., Spartanburg, SC. The family will receive friends at the home, 212 Autumn Glen Dr., Spartanburg, SC
