Obituary For Dorothy Foster

Dorothy Mae Wilkins Foster,
affectionately know as Dot was born on
May 3,1963 in Spartanburg. She
transitioned on April 19,2024. She was
the daughter of the late June Lipscomb
and the late Evelyn “EB” Wilkins.


She began her Christian journey at
New Pilgrim Baptist Church. She
continued her journey at New Hope
Baptist Church and then to Calvary
Redemption Center


Dorothy attended public schools in
Spartanburg SC. She served the
community by working at Long John
Silvers, The Marriott Hotel Group,
Bojangles, Sodexo, and her own
Janitorial Services.


She is survived by her husband,
Ronnie Foster; two sons, Towan
Wilkins and Roosevelt Bobo of
Spartanburg; one daughter, Rosalyn
(Micial) Bobo-Sullivan of Boiling
Springs; two adopted children, Cortez
Copeland and Katherine Walker, three
brothers, Tommy L Glover and Lienall
Wilkins of Spartanburg, Marshall
Wilkins of Columbia one sister, Thelma
(Paul) Littlejohn; grandkids and a host
of family members.


She was preceded by three brother
Johnhorse Wilkins, Leonard Wilikins,

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at The John Stinson Woodward Memorial Chapel, 602 Howard St., Spartanburg, SC. Burial will be in the New Pilgrim Baptist Church Cemetery, Campobello, SC.
