Obituary For Willie Ferguson
Spartanburg, SC – Mrs. Willie Lee Jeter Ferguson born May 6, 1942 in Union County, SC, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, October 6, 2015. Mrs. Ferguson was the daughter of the late Abraham and Elwillie Peake Jeter. For 55 years, she was the loving wife of Reverend O.C. Ferguson, Sr. She was a former employee of Hamrick’s, S.S. Manufacturing and Felts, Inc. Mrs. Ferguson was a dedicated and faithful member of Harrison Grove Baptist Church where she served in many capacities: Member of the Usher Board, Pastor’s Aid, and Missionary. She also was a choir member of St. James Baptist Church. Left to cherish fond and loving memories are: her cherished husband; her devoted sons, O.C. Ferguson, Jr. (Penny) and Reggie C. Ferguson (Crystal) both of Spartanburg, SC; her eight sisters; her five brothers; her five grandchildren; her four great-grandchildren; and a host nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and dear friends. A Celebration of the Life of Willie Lee Jeter Ferguson will be held on Sunday, October 11, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Harrison Grove Baptist Church, 299 State Rd., Roebuck, SC. Reverend Dr. L.C. Rector, Sr. will officiate. Interment will be held in the Heritage Memorial Gardens, 3901 S. Church St., Roebuck, SC. The family will receive friends at the home, 4801 Mattingly Ct., Spartanburg, SC.
