My deepest and sincere condolences to the Easter family. From the first time I met Mr. Easter at Fifth Street Baptist Church, he looked at my son (Jassan) and said.. "You will make a great scout young man". Mr. Easter seen so much potential in my son always motivating, teaching and inspiring him to be great. Mr. Easter would always greet me with a smile and would often say "I'm here if you or Jassan need anything. As my son's Scout Master, Mr. Easter taught him so much helping to mold him into the young man he is today. Mr. Easter will be missed deeply and I am forever thankful for the impact he made in my son's life. His soul is resting peacefully in heaven above. Prayers of strength and comfort to the family. -Lonnice DuPree and Jassan Shabazz

To the Easter family --I am so sorry for your loss of Tony. One of the best Scoutmasters in Capital District from his Troop 476, and his service to scouting in the Heart of Virginia Council. I just can not Understand why he always went to Camp T. Brady Saunders Scout Summer Camp the week of July 4th!!!! because it is always so so so HOT!! I was there as well, so I guess true Scoutmasters loved their young scouts we made this commitment to be at camp. You will be missed this year at Camp, but I will look up and know you are watching over all the scouters at Boy Scout camp. May the greatest Scoutmaster be with us all until we meet again. Doug Hill
