Obituary For Willie Jefferies

Willie Mack “Bill” Jefferies, 72, peacefully entered into eternal rest on Monday, November 2, 2015 at his home. Mr. Jefferies was the son of the late Willie Caldwell and Hattie Copeland Jefferies. He was the widower of Mable Cannon Jefferies. Mr. Jefferies retired from Jack Smith Transmission after forty-six years of service. Left to cherish fond and loving memories are: his beloved companion, Margaret Anderson; his sons, Michael Fowler and Johnathan Freeman; his daughter, Sherie Jefferson; his sisters, Josephine J. Toms, Penola Bennett and Mary Gilliam. Willie was preceded in death by his daughter, Bonita Freeman; his son, Willie Freeman; and his brother, Thomas Jefferies. A Celebration of the Life of Willie Mack “Bill” Jefferies will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. at The John Stinson Woodward Memorial Chapel, 602 Howard St., Spartanburg, SC. Dr. Lewis A. Mills will officiate. Interment will be in the New Pilgrim Baptist Church Cemetery, 5040 Rainbow Lake Rd., Campobello, SC. The family will receive friends at the home of 757 Baltimore St. and at the home of his sister, Josephine Toms, 210 Chatham Cir.
