Ms. Mavis L. McLean, of Marianna, Florida transitioned from life temporal to life eternal on Sunday, April 21, 2024, at home surrounded by her loving family and friends, in Greenwood, Florida.

She was an educator at Marianna High School, where she was loved by her coworkers and students past and present.

Homegoing Celebration of Life services will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2024, at 11:00 AM from the sanctuary of the Second West Baptist Association Church located at 4110 Herring Avenue in Marianna, Florida 32448 where the Reverend Dwight Cockerham Sr., is the moderator with the Reverend Dr. Henry Forward, officiating.

Interment will be in the Buckhorn Baptist Church Cemetery located at 4691 Hwy 162 in Marianna, Florida.

Ms. McLean will lie in repose at the church from 10:00 AM until time for the service.

A public viewing will be held on Friday, April 26, 2024, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Vann Funeral Home.

She leaves to cherish a lifetime of fond, yet precious memories, a loving and devoted family.
