Obituary For George Young, Jr.

Spartanburg, SC - George Young, Jr., 67, peacefully entered into eternal rest on Thursday, December 3, 2015 at Regional Hospice Home. Mr. Young was the son of the late George Young, Sr. and Rosetta Young. He was the husband of Tracy Young. Left to cherish fond and loving memories are: his daughters, Travonne Young, Sonia (Albert) Young-Sanders, Tonia (Tony) Woolridge and Erika Young all of Detroit, MI and Leasia (Anthony) Young-Stevenson of Spartanburg, SC; his sons, Bryan Young and Bryce Young both of Detroit, MI, Rashad Young and Damien Young both of Spartanburg, SC; his sisters, Sylviajean Rodgers of Atlanta, GA and Cookie (Rochell) Dean of Spartanburg, SC; his fifteen grandchildren; his three great grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends. Mr. Young was preceded in death by his son, George Young, III and his brothers, Herbert and Eddie Young. A Celebration of the Life of George Young, Jr. will be held on Saturday, December 12, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at The John Stinson Woodward Memorial Chapel, 602 Howard St., Spartanburg, SC. Reverend Donald Manning will officiate. The family will receive friends at the home of Mr. and Mrs. H. Rochell Dean, 241 Arrowhead Cir., Spartanburg, SC.
