I only learned of Bobby's death yesterday when I had my daughter at OA for a MRI. I realize now it is because Bobby died in the period when my dad was in the end stage of a terminal illness. I know very little from January that wasn't directly related to my father. I worked with Bobby at MBMH in the 90's. He was hands down one of my favorite people there. I do believe this photo is the only time I've ever seen Bobby not smiling. If he ever had a bad day, we never knew it. We shared many laughs and survived MBMH transitioning from not for profit to for profit. Those were some days!! Survivors of that time were forever bonded! I shed tears yesterday for my friend. My heart hurts for you as I know how this first Christmas without a loved one feels. I am grateful that blessed assurance means we will all see him again, but our hearts will miss Bobby until that time. You have my deepest, heartfelt sympathy.

- Lisa Nelms Murphy

I want to thank the Hardy family for sharing Bobby with his OA family. I knew Bobby from working with him at OA. What a loving and beautiful man he was. Our heavenly father has a called a very special angel home. Thank you for allow us to share in Bobby's service. The life cellebration at Mt. Moriah Church was the most beautiful and inspiring service I have ever attended. This service truely was Bobby thru and thru.

To Bobbys family... I hope that you take comfort and joy in the amazing ways Bobby touched our lives. His smile was contagious, his care was priceless and his faith, his faith was pure. I am thankful for the times he shared a powerful word Blondell shared, a lesson or scripture he shared with his baby girl and for the times he challenged or encouraged me. He made my mornings at work bearable. I am going to miss everything about you Bobby. But oh what a legacy.

Teddy Hardy was the coolest person in the Dorman High School Class of 1986. But what made Teddy special was that he did not think he was the coolest person in school. He took the time to speak to everyone with respect and that smile. He made everyone feel important and, in kind, everyone had a kind word to describe him. A great guy and truly a one-of-a-kind person.
