Obituary For Tommey Goode, Jr.

Spartanburg, SC - Tommey Roger Goode, Jr., 48, peacefully entered into eternal rest on Sunday, January 17, 2016. Mr. Goode was the son of Tommey Roger, Sr. and Pearlean Goode. He was employed with Spartanburg Steel Products. Left to cherish fond and loving memories are: his parents; his daughters, Eboni Tacora Taylor of Columbia, SC and Corrie Lanora Goode of Roebuck, SC; his step-daughter, Quijana Shuntae Miller of Roebuck, SC; his sisters, Remona Goode of Charlotte, NC and Melbra (Johnny Edward) Goode- Eison of Spartanburg, SC; his nephew, D’Marcus Rashad Goode of Spartanburg, SC; his uncles and aunts, Columbus and Mazola Goode of Baltimore, MD, Garfield and Shirley Dawkins of Spartanburg, SC and Johnny and Alice Reid of Pacolet, SC, Nellie Dawkins, Georgiann Dawkins and Edward Dawkins all of Spartanburg, SC; his great aunt, Annie Ruth Smith of Pacolet, SC; his great uncle, June Adams of Gaffney, SC; and a host of cousins and friends. A Celebration of the Life of Tommey Roger Goode, Jr. will be held on Sunday, January 24, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at The John Stinson Woodward Memorial Chapel, 602 Howard St., Spartanburg, SC. Reverend Dr. Thomas E. Massey, Jr. and Reverend James L. Hailstock will officiate. Interment will be in the New Salem Zion Baptist Church, 675 Jerusalem Rd., Pacolet, SC. The family will receive friends at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Tommey Roger, Sr. and Pearlean Goode, 27 Lynwood Dr., Spartanburg, SC.
