Obituary For Howard Talley

Cowpens, SC - Howard Lee Talley, 82, peacefully entered into eternal rest on Monday, January 18, 2016. Mr. Talley was the son of the late Thomas and Lillie Talley. He was the former husband of Ruth Talley. He retired from Nation Starch & Chemical Company. Left to cherish fond and loving memories are: his two daughters, Pamela Talley and Terri (David) Talley Lee; his beloved granddaughter, Sarah Talley; his sister, Georgia M. Wheeler; his niece, Avis (Rev. Terry) Dawkins; his two nephews, Tyrone Wheeler and Erskine (Diane) Wheeler; and a host of loving relatives and friends. A Celebration of the Life of Howard Talley will be held on Sunday, January 24, 2016 at 4:00 p.m. at The John Stinson Woodward Memorial Chapel, 602 Howard St., Spartanburg, SC. Reverend Dr. Thomas E. Massey, Jr. will officiate. Interment will be in the Lincoln Memorial Gardens, 2310 Cannons Campground Rd., Drayton, SC. The family will receive friends thirty minutes prior to service in the chapel.
