Obituary For Mary Palmer-Farr

Spartanburg, SC - Mary Elizabeth Palmer-Farr, 76, peacefully entered into eternal rest on Saturday, January 23, 2016. Mrs. Palmer-Farr was the daughter of the late Beulah Jacobs Cain and Fred Rogers. She was the widow of James Oscar Farr. Mary was a member of Monks Grove Baptist Church. She retired from Milliken Research Center after twenty years of employment. Mrs. Palmer-Farr was the last survivor of her immediate family. Left to cherish fond and loving memories are: her daughter, Rhonda Yvette Palmer of the home; and a host of dear relatives and friends. Mary was preceded in death by her siblings, Barbara J. Lester, Willie Jacobs, Alucius McInnis and James McInnis, Jr. A Celebration of the Life of Mary Elizabeth Palmer-Farr will be held on Thursday, January 28, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at The John Stinson Woodward Memorial Chapel, 602 Howard St., Spartanburg, SC. Reverend Dr. Walter R. Belton will officiate. Interment will be in the Lincoln Memorial Gardens, 2310 Cannons Campground Rd., Drayton, SC. The family will receive friends at the home, 2308 Avondale Dr., Spartanburg, SC.
