Obituary For Stinson Hollis

Stinson Hollis, 64, peacefully entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, February 29, 2016. Mr. Hollis was the son of the late Loyce Hollis, Jr. and Lottie Mae Rayford Hollis Wingo. He was the husband of Betty Garner Hollis. Stinson Hollis was a member of At His Feet Ministry and a former member of United House of Prayer for All People. He retired from BMW. Left to cherish fond and loving memories are: his wife, Betty; his three daughters, Angie Jones-Casey, Audra “Gwen” (Carlton) Brown and Monica “Meka” Hollis; his two sons, Timothy and Rodney Hollis; his two sisters, Shirley (Johnny) Elmore and Maxine (Allen) Robinson; his brother, Michael (Patricia) Hollis; his eleven grandchildren; his six great grandchildren; and a host of family and friends. Stinson was preceded in death by two brothers, Arthur Hollis and Loyce Hollis, III. A Celebration of the Life of Stinson Hollis will he held on Saturday, March 5, 2016 at 3:30 p.m. at The John Stinson Woodward Memorial Chapel, 602 Howard St., Spartanburg, SC. Reverend Dorothy Young will officiate. The family will receive friends at the home, 2479 Country Club Rd. Apt. 1500 B, Spartanburg, SC.
