Spartanburg, SC - Shirley Fields Jeter, 61, peacefully entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, March 2, 2016. Mrs. Jeter was the daughter of the late Roosavelt Henderson and Betty Fields. Shirley was a member of Mt. Sinai Baptist Church. She was employed with BMW. Left to cherish fond and loving memories are: her two sons, Howard Jeter, II of the home and Xzeria Damont Jeter of Savannah, GA; her sister, Sheila (Douglas) Jenkins of Spartanburg, SC; her three brothers, Ricky Fields of the home, Twyman Fields and Roderick (Lu Ella) Henderson both of Spartanburg, SC; and her five grandchildren. Shirley Fields Jeter was preceded in death by her grandmother, Emma Fields; her great grandmother, Annie Bell Lindsey ; and a sister, Villis L. Vigil. A Celebration of the Life of Shirley Fields Jeter will be held on Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Macedonia Baptist Church. Reverend James Splawn will officiate. Interment will be in the Lincoln Memorial Gardens, 2310 Cannons Campground Rd., Spartanburg, SC.
