Spartanburg, SC - Minnie Bessie Lee Hardy, 90, peacefully entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, March 8, 2016. Miss Hardy was the daughter of the late Ms. Carrie Bell Hardy. Minnie was a member of Mt. Sinai Baptist Church. She retired from Spartanburg School District 7. Left to cherish fond and loving memories are: her nieces, Dr. Frances Hardy and Renee (Shawn) Laurent; her nephews, Freddie (Sheila) Hardy and Steve (Angela) Hardy; her great nieces, Elissya Simone Laurent and Gabrielle Andrea Hardy; her great nephews, Trey Matthew Laurent and Clark Grayson Hardy; her cousins reared as sisters, Matilda Bobo and Margaret Richardson; and a host of dear relatives and friends. Minnie was preceded in death by a sister, Elsie Mae Hardy; two cousins reared as siblings, Cornelia Littlejohn and Eugene Hardy. A Celebration of the Life of Minnie Bessie Lee Hardy will be held on Sunday, March 13, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Mt. Sinai Baptist Church, 2911 S. Church St., Spartanburg, SC. The Reverend James Splawn will officiate. Interment will be in the Lincoln Memorial Gardens, 2310 Cannons Campground Rd., Drayton, SC.
