Obituary For Nelson Palmer

Nelson Wade Palmer entered into eternal rest on Monday, March 7, 2016. Nelson was the fourth child and only son born to the late McKinley “Booster” and Laura Davis Palmer on September 30, 1949. Left to cherish beautiful memories are: four sisters, Johnnie Mae Palmer Harris of the home, Cecilia Palmer James of Flushing, NY, Peggy Ann Palmer Sims of Greer, SC and Mary Ruth Palmer Miller of Spartanburg, SC; a loving cousin, Cynthia Jeffers of Spartanburg, SC; wonderful and dynamic nieces and nephews; and a host of relatives and friends. Graveside Services for Nelson Wade Palmer will be held on Thursday, March 17, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the Lincoln Memorial Gardens, 2310 Cannons Campground Rd., Drayton, SC. Bishop Sherome Gentry will officiate. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 from 7:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at The John Stinson Woodward Memorial Chapel, 602 Howard St., Spartanburg, SC.
