Mrs. Evelyn Cole Clowney was a very special lady to her very special family and friends. She was the epitome of womanhood and motherhood. She maintained a position of dignity and love for all through the good times and the tough times. She never lost focus as to who she was and she placed her husband and her family even before herself. She was unselfish and flashed a bright smile to everyone she met, even on some of her rough days. Evelyn was beautiful, smart, loving, kind and most importantly she loved the Lord our Savior. She now rests in HIS care. I will always cherish and love this precious and noble lady. Reuben Salters John 'Pete' Clowney's classmate and one of Evelyn's Camp mates at Camp Woodruff in the early 1940s.
