Obituary For David Smith

Spartanburg, SC - David Lee Smith, 54, peacefully entered into eternal rest on Saturday, March 12, 2016. Mr. Smith was the son of Mr. and Mrs. William and Mary Meredith. Left to cherish fond and loving memories are: his parents, William and Mary Meredith of Spartanburg, SC; his son, Devin (Stephanie) Miller of North Augusta, SC; his three brothers, Horace (Darlene) Anderson and Gerald (Nora) Meredith both of Spartanburg, SC and William Meredith, Jr. of Fort Worth, TX; his sisters, Cynthia Smith and Wilma Simuel both of Spartanburg, SC; his grandson, Trearius Jones; and a host of nieces and nephews. A Celebration of the Life of David Lee Smith will be held on Sunday, March 20, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at The John Stinson Woodward Memorial Chapel, 602 Howard St., Spartanburg, SC. Bishop S. Derrall Beason will officiate. Interment will be in the Heritage Memorial Gardens, 3901 S. Church St., Roebuck, SC. The family will receive friends at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. William and Mary Meredith, 405 Beacon St., Spartanburg, SC.
