Marvin G. Simpson, 73, peacefully entered into eternal rest on April 24, 2016. Mr. Simpson was the son of the late Andrew G. Simpson and Prudy Horne. He was the husband of Thelma Simpson. Mr. Simpson was a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church. Left to cherish fond and loving memories are: his daughters, Patrice Simpson, Kenya Spears, Hope Blakely and Marvette Easterling; his sons, Maurice Simpson, Terrence (Sharee) Simpson and Shawn (Jackie) Simpson. Mr. Simpson was preceded in death by a daughter, Keisha Smith and a cousin, Harold Simpson. A Celebration of the Life of Marvin G. Simpson will be held on Friday, April 29, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, 299 S Linda St, Cowpens, SC. Reverend Tony Makupson will officiate. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
