Obituary For Mr. Cornelius Booker, Jr.

SPARTANBURG, SC-- Mr. Cornelius William 'CW Junior' Booker, Jr. was born February 16, 1950 departed his glorious journey on July 1, 2016 at the Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Mr. Booker was the son of the late Mr. Cornelius and Mrs. Mamie Alice Ownes Booker. He was a 1968 graduate of Lincoln High School of Fairforest, SC. He was a faithful Deacon, Trustee, Usher and Choir member of the Maxwell Chapel Baptist Church. Survivors include his loving wife of forty five years, Mrs. Barbara Booker, three children, Cornelius (Ledra) Booker, Nicia Booker and Jonathan Tucker, two nieces reared in the home, fifiteen grandchildren, three great grandchildren and one great grand grandson. He was blessed with one brother, Welton (Virginia) Booker. And his faithful companion, his shih-tzu, Bentley. A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at the Foster's Chapel Baptist Church, Roebuck, SC. Dr. Patrick Suber and Rev. Dennis Smith will officiate. Burial will be in the Heritage Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the home at 110 Ferguson Court, Spartanburg, SC.
