Obituary For Henrietta Lipscomb

Pacolet, SC - On Wednesday, August 10, 2016 Henrietta Lipscomb entered into an eternal resting place. Mrs. Lipscomb was the daughter of the late Hattie Belle Shippy and Walter Shippy. She was married to Richard Lipscomb on August 13, 1963. Mrs. Lipscomb was a devoted member of Mt. Sinai F. B. H Church for forty-three years. Henrietta was employed with Jessie Boyd Elementary and Spartanburg Regional Hospital. Left to cherish fond and loving memories are: her husband, Richard; her daughters, Dedra Mitchell, Lisa Lipscomb and Angel Lipscomb; her sons, Richard K. Lipscomb, Columbo Lipscomb and Kaleb Mitchell; her son-in-law, Joseph Mitchell; her brother, Walter James Shippy; her sisters, Corrie Gist, Marris Huntley and Linda Shippy; her twelve grandchildren, Antwon Mitchell, Nakisha Mitchell, Tasha Jefferies, Terika Culp, Trayshan Lipscomb, Jasmine Shippy, Cameron Lipscomb, Katrina Lipscomb, Destiny Jones, Kenneth Makupson, Deja Pilgrim and Andrea Robinson; her great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and dear friends. A Celebration of the Life of Henrietta Lipscomb will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at The John Stinson Woodward Memorial Chapel, 602 Howard St., Spartanburg, SC. Interment will be in the Mt. Sinai F. B. H. Church, 410 Jerusalem Rd., Pacolet, SC.
