Obituary For Rose Mary Spurgeon

SPARTANBURG, SC-- Rose Mary Spurgeon, 58, of 4205 Meridian River Run, entered into eternal rest on August 9, 2016. Mrs. Spurgeon was the daughter of the late Seawright Spurgeon and Louella Byrd Spurgeon. She was a native Spartanburg County. Rose was employed with Masonto for many years. Survivors include: her daughter, Tanisha Renai Spurgeon of the home; her three sisters, Modestine Hunter of Laurens, SC, Karen Spurgeon of the home and Tessie (Bobby) Casey of Wellford, SC; her five brothers, Burnell (Dorothy) Byrd of Gray Court, SC, Eugene (Carrie) Spurgeon of Enoree, SC, Norris Spurgeon of Greenville, SC, Ronnie Spurgeon of Mauldin, SC and Gordon Spurgeon of Enoree, SC; her three sisters-in-law, Adrienne Byrd of Philadelphia, PA, Rev. Ruby Byrd of Enoree, SC and Hazel Byrd of Enoree, SC; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Graveside Services for Rose Mary Spurgeon will be held on Monday, August 15, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. in the Cedar Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, 190 Bill Roberson Rd., Enoree, SC. Reverend Johnny Byrd will officiate. The family is at the home, 425 Meridian River Run, Spartanburg, SC.
