Spartanburg, SC - Desmond Rachmin Smith departed this life on Friday, August 26, 2016. He was born on September 25, 1982 in Spartanburg County to the late Debra Smith Williams and Danny Hills Smith. Desmond was studying to be a Jehovah’s Witness. Left to cherish fond and loving memories are: his devoted wife, Toria Smith and his loving children, Dallas, Dylan and DeVaughn of the home. He started driving trucks at the age of eighteen. Mr. Smith received his CDL at the Truck Driver Institute, Inc. Desmond was currently employed with Benore Logistics System, Inc. in Greer, SC. He was the brother of Derian Rashard Smith of Erie, PA, DeVaughn Reginald Smith of Atlanta, GA, Dendrian (Tashia) Rasheid Nixon of Spartanburg, SC and Daleesa (Lewis) Shelton of Rochester, NY. Memorial Services for Desmond Rachmin Smith will be held on Friday, September 2, 2016 at 4:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 575 Crescent Ave., Spartanburg, SC.
