My heart is very saddened, but I know Sam is with Jesus, Our Lord and Savior. He will be greatly missed. I knew him from my mother working at Fieldcrest Mills and from the dental office of Abbey Hawkins in Eden. He always had a smile and a kind word for everyone. May God provide his family with comfort. Heaven will be so sweet when we see all our loved ones and friends again!

In this time of sorrow, may the embrace of loved ones bring you solace. The loss of your father, Deacon Samuel Meadows, leaves a void words cannot fill. Draw strength from shared memories and the enduring legacy of faith and service he leaves behind. Remember Psalms 34:18, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted." Everett, Kyrra and family, I am so sorry to hear of the loss of you Dad "Bruh Meadows" as I fondly called him. He always had a warm greeting a genuine smile and words of encouragement every time I saw him. Whenever I'd come to Morning Star he'd always come from wherever he was and ask me to come sit up front with the deacons and quite often ask me to do a prayer. I sometimes didn't feel up to the task but it was he among others that would encourage me to go forward anyway. In this difficult time please know that there are so many that grieve with you and we will continue to loft your family in prayer.
