Julian Garcia, 69, a lifelong resident of T. or C., passed away peacefully on Friday, April 19, 2024, surrounded by his family. Julian was born to Julian H. Garcia, Sr. and Lorie Vallejos and graduated from HSHS, class of 1972. He was a hard worker, always keeping busy- either at home with his family or on the job. He truly enjoyed working, and retired from as a Supervisor for the T. or C. Water Department in 2015, after over 20 years of service. After retirement, he starting working part time as a ranch hand, and doing electrician work on the side. His other greatest joy was his family. He loved spending time with his kids and grandchildren- teaching them his skills and love for the outdoors. He loved good music, guns, and hanging out with his friends and family. He was always willing to help anyone in need, and will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.

Julian is survived by his children: Breanna Garcia, Kaitlin Garcia, Amber Garcia, Shawn Agee, Sabrina Bierner, Fonta Reilly, Vishna Margado and Bridget Otero; grandchildren: Julie, Richard, Lucas, Addie, Shelly, Michael, Hannah, Levi, Nathaniel, Cassady, Shelby, Hunter, Garrett, Mikaela, Mariah, Odessa, Diego and Dominique; numerous great- grandchildren; and his dog, Sophie. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 34 years, Rebecca Garcia; his mother, Lorie Vallejos - Garcia; brother, Bobby Garcia; and son-in-law, Zackary Gomez.

A Memorial Service will be held in Julian’s honor on Friday, April 26, 2024 at 10:00 A.M. at the Church at the Butte, with Pastor Houston Cano officiating.
