Obituary For Converse McNally

Spartanburg, SC - On November 4, 2016 Converse McNally, Jr. was called to be with the Lord. He was born February 26, 1931 to the late Lillie Mae Ware and Converse McNally, Sr. in Spartanburg, SC. Converse was the husband of Margaret Jeter McNally. Left to cherish fond and loving memories are: his brother, Donald McNally of Rock Hill, SC; his sister, Lillie Bell (Robert) Level of Jackson, GA; his six daughters, Brenda McNally of Duncan, SC, Cynthia McNally of Spartanburg, SC, Yvonne McNally (Maxie) Miller Boiling Springs, SC, Janie McNally (Yancy) Massey of Duncan, SC, Cassandra A. McNally (Craig) Brewton of Spartanburg, SC and Janice Boggs of Buffalo, NY; his two sons, Converse (Vanessa) McNally, III of Spartanburg, SC and Randolph McNally of Spartanburg, SC; his nineteen grandchildren; his twenty great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Converse was preceded in death by: his three sisters, Inez McNally Smith, Janie Mae McNally Jones and Margaret McNally Means; a sister-in-law, Dorothy McNally; five brothers-in-law, Melvin Jones, Edward Means, Curtis Thomas, James Ross and Wash Flemming, Jr. The family will receive friends at the home of his daughter, Janie McNally Massey, 263 Silver Hawk Dr., Duncan, SC. A Celebration of the Life of Converse McNall, Jr. will be held on Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church, 445 S. Church St., Spartanburg, SC. Dr. B. D. Snoody will officiate. Interment will be in the Heritage Memorial Gardens, 3901 S. Church St., Roebuck, SC.
