Union, SC - Dontae Vantraill Nash Farr, 21, entered eternal rest on Sunday, November 13, 2016 from injuries sustained in a single automobile accident. Dontae was the son of Samantha and Harold Farr, Jr.; he was a Union native. Mr. Nash graduated from Union County High School, Class of 2014. While in high school he participated in football as a defensive football player. “Nash” also participated in track as a Shotput and Discus thrower. He was employed at Gestamp for two years. Dontae’s smile was contagious and his hugs unbearable. He was so humble and kind to all who knew him. Left to cherish fond and loving memories are: his loving parents, Samantha and Harold, Farr, Jr.; his beloved siblings, Paz’shunna Smith, Donasia Nash, Harold Farr, III and Dre’Quan Farr all of the home; his maternal grandfather, John T. Jeffries, Jr. of Jonesville, SC; his paternal grandparents, Harold (Elizabeth) Farr, Sr. of Union, SC; his uncle, John T. (Yolanda) Jeffries, III of Anderson, SC; his aunts, Charlette (Troy) Shell of Union, SC, Jonette Gude of Greenville, SC, Brandy (Anthony) O’Neal of Spartanburg, SC and Nicole Farr of Union, SC; his devoted companion, Kimberly Irazoque of Spartanburg, SC; and a host of dear family members and friends. Dontae was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Judy E. Littlejohn Jeffries. A Celebration of the Life of Dontae Vantraill Nash Farr will be held on Saturday, November 19, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the Jonesville High School, 131 N. Main St., Jonesville, SC. The Reverend William E. Smith will officiate. Interment will be in the Rosemont Cemetery, 123 Sardis Rd., Union, SC. Dontae will lie in state at Jonesville High School from 12:00 noon until the hour of service.
