Sarah Mae Terrell Wells passed away on Saturday, April 27. She was born on November 18, 1935.
Funeral Services will be on Saturday, May 4, @ 11:00 a.m. @ the New Hope AME Church, Grange Community. Burial will be in the Hardeman Springfield Baptist Church Cemetery.
Sarah Mae Terrell Wells was born on Monday, November 18, 1935, to Ernest Terrell and Vandella McCall Terrell in the Grange Community.
She was a loyal and dedicated member of the New Hope African Methodist Episcopal Church, the church of her maternal ancestors. She was an associate member and supporter of Hardeman Springfield Baptist Church, the church of her late husband and her children.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Wells, Sr. on March 4, 1986, and her son, William (June Beetle) Wells, Jr. on August 18, 2017.
Survivors include her children: Julia, Gary, and Bonnie, Louisville; Stevie (Jennifer) Hahira, GA; and a daughter-in-love Brenda Hall, Wadley.
She leaves eleven grandchildren: Phaedra Wells, College Park; Bethany (Allen) Thomas, McDonough; Treyonna (Christopher) Dreher, Atlanta; Brenton Wells, Wadley; Keyona Wells, Raleigh, NC; Briahnna Wells, McLeansville, NC; Sarah Maegan Wells; Evans; Jaylin D. Best and Stephen Z. Wells of the home; Olivia Vandella-Marie Wells and Norah Lynn Wells, Hahira, GA. She leaves four great-grandchildren: Madison Alexis, of the home; Jeremiah Kali, McLeansville, NC; Adrienne Lindsay, College Park; and Cairo Alexander, Swainsboro.
Her surviving siblings are Suluer Terrell Wells, who was often referred to as her twin, Louisville; Pauline (Willie) Williams; West Plam Beach, FL; Henry Frank Terrell, Atlanta; John (Mamie) Terrell; Morrow; and Harvey (Bernice) McCall, Augusta.
Family will receive relatives and friends at the residence, 1124 Berrian Branch Road, Louisville, GA.
