Una, SC - Ada Bell Edwards entered eternal rest on January 3, 2017. Sunday, January 7, 2016 Two O’Clock in the Afternoon Foster Chapel Baptist Church 2800 Stone Station Rd. Roebuck, South Carolina Reverend Dr. Patrick Syber, Officiating Ms. Ada Bell Edwards was born May 23, 1941 in Roebuck, SC to the late Henderson Edwards and Florence Woodruff Edwards. She was called to eternal rest on January 3, 2017, after an extended illness. Ms. Edwards joined Foster Chapel Baptist Church in Roebuck at an early age and was a willing worker until her health declined. During her active years she was a member of the Foster Chapel Missionary, Garden Club, Fellowship Choir and Jubilee Choir. Ada was a member of the Roberta Liberty Chapter #133 Order of Eastern Star and the Community Chapel Sympathy Club. Ms. Edwards graduated from Lincoln High School, Class of 1962. For a brief period of time she lived in Indiana until her return home in Roebuck, SC. She was employed at School District 7, Plastic Injections and retired from Spartanburg Steel. Left to cherish fond and loving memories are: her brother, Charlie Henderson Edwards, Sr.; her sister-in-law, Mary Edwards of Una, SC; her nieces, Lavoris Michelle Edwards and Mary Denise Edwards of Una, SC; her nephews, Morris Butler of Roebuck, SC and Charlie Henderson Edwards, Jr. of Una, SC; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
