Mr. Richard Eugene Lee of Wadesboro, North Carolina was born on July 2, 1969 to the late James Vance Lee Sr. and Jannie Bell Lee.

He departed this life on April 29, 2024 at his home in Wadesboro, North Carolina.

Richard was a member of the Flat Rock Missionary Baptist Church, Wadesboro, North Carolina where he faithfully attended until his health declined.

Richard was loved by many. Anyone who knew him, knew that he had a passion for playing horseshoes, riding motorcycles and spending time with his family and friends.

Richard was preceded in death by his father, James Vance Lee Sr.; mother, Jannie Bell Lee; and two brothers, Frederick Lee and Willie Lee.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory: daughter, Lativa Lee Threatt; son-in-law, Kendall Threatt; and two grandsons, Kendall Threatt Jr. and Kaden F. Threatt whom he loved dearly all of Lancaster, South Carolina.

One brother, James Vance Lee Jr. of Wadesboro, North Carolina. Three sisters: Barbara Lee Taylor of Wadesboro, North Carolina, Rosa Huntley of Monroe, North Carolina and Sarah Lotharp of Marshville, North Carolina.

A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The Homegoing Services will be on Sunday, May 5, 2024, 3:00pm, Smith's Memorial Chapel, 604 Salisbury Street, Wadesboro, North Carolina. Interment will be at Westview Memorial Park, Highway 74-West, Polkton, North Carolina.
